Mark the boundary
A set of cones makes it easy to mark a clear, fast-moving boundary for the whole group.

- Mark a boundary with cones.
- Half the group dribbles a ball inside; the other half starts as defenders with no ball.
Instructions
- Defenders try to tag a dribbler's ball away or knock it out of the area without fouling.
- A dribbler who loses their ball becomes a defender for the next round.
- Play until only one or two dribblers remain, then restart with fresh defenders.
- Keep the area small enough that the action stays constant.
Coaching Points
- Close down under control - sprinting in out of control just gets you dribbled past.
- Use the near foot to poke, not a big kicking swing.
- Stay light on your feet so you can react to a sudden change of direction.
Variation
Give dribblers two lives before they become defenders, to keep more players on the ball longer.
