This drill needs two balls per player
A bulk multi-pack of training basketballs is the most practical way to make sure every player has two balls on hand.

- Each player has two basketballs and enough space to dribble in place.
- Players can be spread out across the court working individually.
Instructions
- Dribble both balls at the same time, same height, for 20 dribbles.
- Dribble both balls alternating (one up while the other is down) for 20 dribbles.
- Dribble both balls while walking forward slowly for the length of the court.
- Finish with 10 dribbles low and fast, both balls together.
Coaching Points
- Keep both dribbles below waist height for control.
- Eyes up throughout — this drill fails fast if players watch the balls.
- It's normal to lose a ball often at first; recovering and restarting quickly is part of the skill.
- Both hands should feel equally worked by the end — this is a great weak-hand builder.
Variation
Add walking or light jogging once stationary control is solid, or try alternating patterns (one bounce high, one low) for advanced players.
